Volunteer
The FOOD Pantry Serving Waukesha County welcomes potential new volunteers for the variety of services we provide. Over 200 volunteers work seven shifts every week to meet the needs of our community.
Explore some of our most common volunteer positions. No prior experience is necessary, basic training will be provided, and any knowledge of the Spanish language is helpful. Please note, the time frames listed with the positions on our website are not a guarantee of availability. These are the times these positions take place but they may be filled already. To learn about what we have available, please complete an application and the volunteer coordinator will be in touch about scheduling options.
Potential volunteers must be at least 13 years old to work onsite. Those under the age of 16 must have a parent or guardian volunteering alongside them. All new volunteers are required to fill out an application, pass a background check, and attend an orientation with the volunteer coordinator. Training shifts will be set up following the orientation. Because of The FOOD Pantry Serving Waukesha County's advance scheduling needs, we cannot promise any last minute volunteer hour requests to new volunteers. We can accommodate court ordered and school volunteer requirements within reason and dependent on volunteer following the above process.
Please fill out the volunteer application to share your interest in volunteering. Please contact the Volunteer Coordinator or call 262-522-2373 with any questions.
Note: As of July 18, 2024 we are currently pausing the processing of new volunteer applications. Please check back again soon. If you have an immediate volunteering question you may contact us at 262-542-5300.
